Sweet D. NICHOLS, Cobbler’s Tool with Original Label – W. Johnson Patent 1858

Shoe Shave/leather working tool made by Daniel Nichols of Hampstead, NH and patented in 1858 by William Johnson. Retains the nearly full original label. Nichols was born in 1811 and died in 1885. A great little pre-Civil War patented tool.
