Early Mahogany Level with Label – “Giffords So. Boston Express, 7 Merchants Row”

An interesting 21 inch mahogany level with an early orange label marked, “Giffords So. Boston Express, 7 Merchants Row”. The level appears to be circa 1850 in the school of McCoskrie or Lambert. Both vials are full and working. Inset brass top plate with ten screws.
