A fantastic and rare 15 inch example retaining its original label and most of the original finish. Vial is full and working. Horace Minot Pool began making levels on his own in 1841 when he parted ways with his brother John. See page 31 of American Levels and their Makers by Don Rosebrook for a similar level and same type of label. Early American levels retaining their original paper labels are very rare.
