Very Early STANLEY No. 44 Bit & Square Level in its Original Green Picture Box

A very early and excellent example. Note “USA” is not included on the label after New Britain, Conn. Stanley didn’t start adding “USA” to their box labels until 1898. This is one of only about 3 examples I’ve observed without “USA” on the box label. Patented Nov. 16, 1886 by Justus Traut. Level vial is full, working and original.
