Spectacular Early JES CHRISTIANSEN “Tubman” Plane

The finest example of these gorgeous and rare planes that I’ve seen. Stunning wood is excellent noting a tiny chip at a rear corner. Sole still shows original milling marks. Until recently, the maker of these early and graphic planes was unknown, but Roger Smith uncovered information when doing research for Vol. 3 of PTAMPIA that they were made by Jes Christiansen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
