Rare! Type One A. STANLEY & CO. No. 26 Carpenter’s Slide Rule

A very rare rule made 1854-1857 by A. Stanley & Co. Warranted boxwood with brass slide. Good fit retaining one pin and firm joint. In 1857, A. Stanley & Co. merged with Hall & Knapp and formed The Stanley Rule & Level Company – the rest is history. A really nice pre-Civil War rule.
