Rare! MULLIKEN & STACKPOLE No 12 Level with Crosshatched Side Plates
For many years, the maker of these “Hudson River” style levels with fancy crosshatched side plates was a mystery. That was until a few years ago when I found an example marked by late 1850’s Boston makers, Mulliken & Stackpole. This is one of only 2-3 marked examples I’m aware of. A fine 30″ mahogany example with brass end plates. All three vials are full and working. Also marked with the model number next to the top plate.
