Rare & Fine Six Inch STRATTON No. 10 Brass Bound Rosewood Level

Excellent six inch example with striking rosewood. Stratton Brothers arguably made the highest quality levels of the 19th century. The vast majority of the short size No. 10 levels they made were 6-1/2 inches long, but at some point they produced a very limited run of levels that were a half inch shorter and were an even six inches long. These six inch examples are very uncommon, and this example is marked with the marker mark on one end, and the model number on the other end. Both vials are full and working.
