Rare & Fine 18th Century E. GOOLD Handled Complex Molding Plane
$975.00
Rare and excellent 13″ example signed E. GOOLD. AWP5 rated 4 stars rarity. It’s uncertain who the E. Goold was who made these planes, but new research points to two new possibilities: Edward Goold of Gilmanton, NH was listed as a joiner c. late 1790’s, and Ebenezer Goold of Sutton, MA was listed as a carpenter c. 1800. A great early plane with a super profile. Width is 2-5/16″.
