Rare & Early! Large P.B. FRALEY, Philadelphia Try Square – c. 1855
Fraley was an early Philadelphia saw maker, working from 1849 to 1859. He is listed in the 1850 Federal Census in Philadelphia with the occupation of saw maker. There was a Peter B. Frawley who served in the Union Army during the Civil War. This early square has a good clear mark and a great thin blade. Overall length is 17 1/4 inches.
