Great little axe signed Huber & Co., Warranted, Cast Steel. Huber & Co. was destroyed by fire during the Civil War when Confederate Brigadier General, John McCausland ordered the town burned on July 30, 1864 after the town failed to raise a ransom of $100,000 in gold. 8.25 inch edge. Weight is 3 pounds, 13 ounces.
