Gorgeous Lignum Vitae Compassed Bottom Coffin Plane

Lovely 8″ plane with a 1 3/4″ Buck Brothers iron. This plane was probably made and used by a shipwright somewhere along the New England coast in the mid to late 1800’s. Unsigned.
