Gorgeous GREGORY Solid Boxwood Plow Plane with 4 Deluxe Tips

A fine and beautiful plow plane marked by G.W. Gregory who was a c. 1850 hardware dealer. This plane has all the hallmarks of having been made for Gregory by Casey, Kitchel & Co. The distinctive double ended fence makes it a stand out. Another unique feature are the original boxwood washers between the nuts and body. Rich creamy boxwood has developed a great glow, topped off with 4 original deluxe tips. AWP “A” mark rated 2 stars for rarity. A really nice pre-Civil War plow plane.
