Fine I. SLEEPER 18th Century Bead & Guide Molding Plane

A super nice example with a fantastic, original dry surface. A tool made and fashioned by the hands of a man who fought and was taken prisoner during the Revolutionary War. John Sleeper was born in 1754 in Newburyport, MA. He served during the American Revolution and was in the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. An excellent survivor over the last 225 or so years.
