Experimental Size STANLEY Brass Bound Mahogany Level

A fine and untouched 14″ example in a unique 2-3/4″ height. Possibly a one-off custom order, but I believe Stanley was experimenting with a unique size that was in-between the height of their standard stock and small stock levels. I know of two rosewood examples in this unique height, and this one mahogany example. Both vials are full and working and the level retains virtually all of the original lacquer finish on the wood and brass. A very rare and special Stanley level.
