Excellent! BELCHER BROTHERS, New York Gunter Rule 1831-43
$225.00
Super fine 24 inch example of an early hand-stamped navigator’s Gunter rule made in New York during the heyday of the maritime industry. Signed, “BELCHER BROTHERS MAKERS” with, “New York” in their showy script. Rule has superb color and surface, crisp edges and all markings are very clear. A fantastic pre-Civil War survivor. Found in a historic seafaring town in Maine.
