Awesome G. WHITE Philadelphia Triple Boxed Cornice Molding Plane – c. Early 1820’s

A really nice 3-3/8 inch wide example with triple boxing of exotic wood. George White (brother of Israel White) was born in 1791, and died at the young age of 33 in 1824. AWP5 “B1″ mark rated two stars rarity. Heel is marked 7/8. A great plane that has survived very well the last 200 years. James Monroe was serving as the nation’s 5th president when this plane was made. L: 13-3/8”.
