1830’s BELCHER BROTHERS New York Boxwood Rule with Brass Slide & Iron Tips

A very early hand stamped, two-foot two-fold boxwood rule with brass arch joint and slide, and early iron tips. Belcher Brothers are noted as having worked in New York beginning in 1831. Awesome “New York” script. A great pre-Civil War and pre-Stanley rule.
