14″ Wm. T. Nicholson Patent Iron Level with Rotating Vial Assembly

Retains both brass buttons with name and patent info, and a good deal of original japanning. Green label under the plumb vial reads, “W.T. Nicholson Maker, Providence, R.I.” Nicholson was granted his patent on May 1, 1860. Level vial assembly rotates freely and both vials are full and working.
