10 Inch! STANLEY/W.T. NICHOLSON Iron Level

This level is very similar to the Stanley No. 43 iron plumb and level which was 9 inches long. However, this example is 10 inches long and is the only example I know of in this length. My thought is this is probably a W.T. Nicholson product made before Stanley bought him out in the early 1860’s. Both vials are full and working.
