Awesome J. HOYLAND & SONS, Philadelphia Brass Back Saw – c. 1850

Great eight inch, 18 tpi example with an absolutely killer handle!  Joseph Hoyland and two of his sons are listed in the 1850 Federal Census as  saw makers.  Blade is straight but has some pitting.  A very rare, pre-Civil War saw.
