George Hawes was born in Wrentham, MA in 1762 and served as a private in the Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution beginning at the age of 16 in 1778.  Marked with the “G. HAWES” from the AWP5 “B” mark together with the “C” mark of, “G.H”.  Both of which rate 5 stars (fewer than 10 known) for rarity.  Just a super plane from the 1700’s fashioned by the hands of a man who served during the American Revolutionary War.  OAL: 10″.
