Aside from the example shown on page 155 in American Levels and their Makers by Don Rosebrook, this is the only 24 inch No. 98 I can recall seeing. A super example retaining nearly full original lacquer finish. Both vials are full and working and the brass has never been polished. Gorgeous rosewood. A very rare Stanley level.
