One of the most beautiful planes ever made. Dead mint unused as it came directly to me from Union with its coat of protectant. Only 32 of these Special Production planes were made. 16 are considered firsts, 11 are seconds, 3 had major flaws, 1 suffered damage in production and 1 is the prototype. This example is considered a second and the ONLY thing that makes it such is the very small extension, or tiny little foot at the bottom of the G on the sole of the plane. Otherwise it is exactly the same, and as perfect as what are considered firsts. A true work of art – a masterpiece.
