ASTONISHING! 17th / 18th Century Luthier’s Bow Making Plane

A stunning and exceedingly rare luthier’s plane used for fashioning bows for string instruments.  Circa late 1600’s / Early 1700’s.  Gorgeous curves and flairs with multiple rosette embellishments set this tool over the top, making it a prized tool by its proud owner then, and today.  The only example I’ve seen or am aware of.   OAL: 4″.  A very special early tool.
