A great 24 inch example of an early navigator’s Gunter rule made in New York during the heyday of the maritime industry. Signed, “BELCHER BROTHERS MAKERS” with, “New York” in their fantastic showy script. Rule has great color and all markings are very clear. A great pre-Civil War survivor.
