A spectacular c. 1850 plane made by a previous employee of Israel White where he specialized in side bead planes. Plane looks like it was never used. Heel is marked, “1/2” and “1 2/8″ and looks to retain its original hardware store price mark. W: 2-3/16″. L 9-1/2”. A really great pre-Civil War plane by a maker I have not seen before.
