This is the only Bailey Tool Co. cam lever jack plane I’ve seen. An excellent and very rare example patented March 14, 1871 by Joseph Bailey and Seldon Bailey of Woonsocket, RI. This plane incorporates Brown and Williams 1873 patent cam lock lever, and D.F. Williams 1875 patent worm gear cutter adjustment. A super nice plane retaining its proper 2″ battle axe and patent date marked cutting iron. Excellent rosewood. OAL of sole: 13-1/8″. They don’t come any nicer.
