A rare and very nice 12″ example with “PROPERTY OF ALLIS CHALMERS CO.” cast in the brass top plate. Also marked “NO. 5 SHOP” in the iron. It’s presumed these were used for setting up shafting in machine shops of the legendary tractor company.
