An absolutely gorgeous plow plane with a mahogany body and fence, contrasted with boxwood arms, nuts, washers and wedge. Lamb & Brownell are noted as working in New Bedford, CT circa 1871. A fine plow plane noting minor thread wear. Mahogany plow planes are very scarce, and this is one of the very best I’ve seen.
