STUNNING Birdseye Maple Stratton Level by Kelly Clore

The late Richard “Kelly” Clore was perhaps the best level restorer of our time, and levels refinished by him are highly sought after by collectors. He also made excellent modern examples, such as this one, of Stratton levels. This 6.5″ brass bound level was made with striking birdseye maple and is signed “Kelly’s Levels New Castle Indiana” and is also marked with Stratton’s patent dates.
