Description
There was a Stanley Vinecombe listed in the 1900 census living in Bristol, Massachusetts with an occupation of piano tuner. The level is very well executed and has finely detailed, decorative chamfers on each edge and very finely done plumb vials. In the realm of solid iron machinist type levels, this is one of the finest example I’ve come across and the only such level I’ve seen with double plumbs. Marked on a label under the level vial.
