A rare core box plane with rosewood knobs generally referred to as being by Frank Tripp of Boston, Mass. See page 178 in PTAMPIA Vol. II for another example. The plane offered here never had the steel extensions added. Really nice as found original condition. Would clean up very nicely. OAL: 7.5″.
