RARE! Disston & Morss No. 111 Tri-Stock Level – Morss & Abel 1871 Patent Adjustment

A rare 26″ example patented April 25, 1871 by Joab Morss and Franklin Abel. A very unique adjustment with a knurled wheel protruding through the plumb vial cover. Beautiful wood appears to be cherry and has been refinished. Previously from the legendary collection of Don Rosebrook and still retains Don’s inventory label. This is one of only two examples I’ve seen with this patent.
