Rare DAVIS LEVEL & TOOL CO. Offset Inclinometer and Level

These 24 inch combination plumb and levels with offset inclinometers by Davis are far less common than the later examples that were offered and marked by M.W. Robinson. This is the only example I recall seeing with a nickel plated name tag on the front face. Rear tag is marked, “Pat’d. May 29, 1877 1883”. A very nice example retaining bold original milling marks on the top and bottom rails. All three vials are full and working.
