Incredible! Seven Inch Cast Iron Machinists Bench Level

One of the very best cast iron machinists bench levels I’ve seen. Retains its original green surface with yellow highlights, and the brass top plate looks to retain a light coat of original nickel plating. Very bold double cyma curved rails lead up to decorative scalloped sides that were factory polished. Milling marks still present on the bottom surface. I’ve seen a couple of these and this is the finest example I know of. All known examples are unmarked but they were clearly manufactured, and whoever made them was really going for the wow factor. It’s possible these were made by Harmon.
