Incredible! H. CHAPIN Mother Plane

A fine example to make a lying ogee with a quirk. Heel is marked 1 1/8 and 4/8. AWP5 “A” mark rated three stars for rarity. To my knowledge, the majority of Chapin’s mother planes are in the collection of Colonial Williamsburg. A rare opportunity to own a significant piece of tool history from a plane making legend.
