A beautiful rosewood plow plane retaining original finish and original nickel plating on the thumbscrews, skate and screws. Boxwood arms, nuts and washers. It looks as if this plane was used for one or two projects, then put away in a toolbox and forgotten about. Lamb & Brownell are noted as working in New Bedford, CT circa 1871.
