Fantastic & Unusual Early Iron Smooth Plane

Awesome form with fabulous lines and great patina, and the fluted wedge is icing on the cake! Overall length is 11 inches including the tote overhang. Some minor losses and the wedge is in there really tight, and I didn’t want to try and force it out. 2-1/2 inch iron. Bold, original milling marks on the bottom. A really great, unique plane by an unknown maker.
