Fantastic 4 Inch Machinist Level – W.H. DANA c. 1880

Super little machinist level marked W.H. Dana. William H. Dana was listed as a machinist in the 1880 federal census living in Lowell, Mass. Absolutely wonderful form and size with a full working vial and bold original milling marks on bottom. It’s very rare to be able to attribute these small machinist made levels with info about the maker.
