Early S.A. JONES No. 6 Rosewood Mortise Gauge 1838-41

Fine example with a graduated stem and marked with the model number, name and location. Jones is noted as having worked in Hartford, CT from 1838-1841. A great pre-Civil War and pre-Stanley tool that has survived very well the last 180 years.
